I thank Heart of Birmingham members for electing me as WOY 2015-2016. We’ve been through the storm but there is sunshine at the end of Heart of Birmingham tunnel just keep the Faith. As we continue to strive to reach our goal (s) let’s remember we are a team of beautiful women and hope to have handsome men working with us also.

ABW DayABW Day

Did you know… September 22 is a national holiday? It’s true! By congressional resolutions in 1983 and 1986, and then by a proclamation from President Ronald Reagan, September 22 is recognized nationally as  the 1949 founding date of the American Business Women’s Association. The mission of the American Business Women’s Association, or ABWA, is “to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership; education, networking support and national recognition”.

Heart of Birmingham is PROUD to stand as a Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association.
